10 August 2004: Coping with a sudden influx of 600,000 biker visitors has kept us pretty busy, but not to worry! We're feverishly working on DIGITAL DEADWOOD behind the scenes. The next big project? Create a flash version of the site and, as always, attract new partners. If you're a business interested in joining us, let us know.

5 August 2004: Despite an official start date of August 9, the 64th Annual Black Hills Motorcycle Rally is upon us in full force already! The Black Hills, with a permanent population of about 200,000, is expected to attract over 600,000 bikers this year. Deadwood is one of the most popular destinations for rally-goers, but Sturgis is the central hub of activity. There are dozens of events scheduled, including the Sturgis Music Festival, which will feature Hank Williams, Jr. and B.B. King!
